Construction Update - Week of September 9 - 15 **UPDATE**
/Update: Demolition work was completed Saturday night September 15. There will not be a freeway closure on Sunday night, September 16. Previously scheduled ramp closures are still in effect.
Limonite Progress Schedule
Contractor started construction on the Limonite Avenue Interchange Project on August 23, 2018. Field activities will consist of demolishing the south side of the Limonite Avenue Bridge over the I-15 freeway.
Lane and Ramp Closures
Monday night, September 10, traffic on Limonite Avenue will be switched to the north side of Limonite Avenue. Traffic will remain in this configuration until the south side of Limonite Bridge is reconstructed.
Full freeway closures along I-15, under the Limonite Avenue Bridge, between 9 PM and 6 AM will be implemented for bridge demolition. Closures will tentatively be 9/14 to 9/15, the Limonite Avenue bridge will be closed to thru traffic. Emergency responders will have access to the Limonite Avenue bridge for emergency use only. Night time closures are anticipated as below:

Schedule
Monday night, September 10
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Monday to Thursday, September 10-13
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday, September 15 - 16
9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Closure
Traffic lanes will be rerouted to the north side of Limonite Avenue with re-striped lane lines and concrete barriers
NB / SB Limonite Ramps on and off
Full closure of the I-15 Freeway, full closure of Limonite Avenue Bridge (Bridge access will remain available for Emergency Responders)
